Before each use or after any falls or
impacts with external elements, make
sure that there is none of the following
anomalies:
• abnormal noise coming from the rear
derailleur during shifting
• positioning the rear derailleur on
the largest sprocket, observing it from
the rear part, is noted that the rocker
shows the lower part that gets too
close to the spokes of the wheel since
the rear derailleur connection drop-out
is possibly bent (Fig. 5).
WARNING!
Do not try to bend the rear derailleur
connection drop-out in order to avoid
breaking the coupling screw and do
not use the rear derailleur on larger
sprockets because the rear derailleur
could get in contact with the spokes
and be damaged and cause acci-
dents, personal injury or death.
