Installing an Additional Hard Drive
1. Power off the system, remove the access panel, and attach an antistatic wrist strap
as described in "Preparing for Installation" on page en-5.
2. Locate an empty hard drive bay in the hard drive cage.
3. Holding the drive handle, insert the hard drive into the drive bay along the
vertical plastic guides until the drive engages the hard drive cage connector.
4. Close the hard drive handle to secure the hard drive into the system.
5. Continue with "Finishing the Installation" on page en-13.
Installing Graphics or PCI Cards
1. Power off the system, remove the access panel, and attach an antistatic wrist strap
as described in "Preparing for Installation" on page en-5.
2. Locate an empty graphics or PCI card slot.
3. Use a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the slot's filler panel from the chassis
back panel.
4. Position the card into the chassis above the empty slot on the motherboard.
5. Guide the card bracket tab into the chassis back panel opening; guide the
opposite end of the card into the chassis card guide so that the card is aligned
evenly with the motherboard slot.
6. At the two upper corners of the card, push the card straight down into the
motherboard connector until the card is fully seated.
7. Install the screw that secures the card bracket tab to the chassis back panel.
8. Continue with "Finishing the Installation" on page en-13.
