If a leak is found before replacing the amount of lubricant required, identify the
cause of the loss before putting the gear back into operation.
Lubricants, solvents and detergents are toxic/ harmful to health:
- If placed in direct contact with skin may cause irritation.
- If inhaled can cause intoxication.
- If ingested can cause death.
Handle with appropriate use of personal protective equipment. Do not dismiss the environment and
dispose of in accordance with the statutory requirements.

Cleaning

Remove any dust reducer and waste operation. Do not use solvents or other products are not
compatible with the materials of construction and do not expose the reducer with high water pressure.

Maintenance Reducer

The maintenance/ replacement must be done by technicians who comply with laws
relating to workplace safety and environmental issues on the installation.
