Checking the Oil Level in Gear Units (ATEX)

Normally, the gear units are supplied with buffer to check the oil level.
To control the proper level of lubricant, first identify the display dimmer level.
- Horizontal Position:
Remove the plug and insert a rod through it compatible with the hole size and shape
indicated on the diagram below.
- Vertical Position:
Check with the rod if the oil level is between MIN and MAX marks and replace the cap.
If the level is far more than 3 mm from the level recorded in the stem, to restore the correct
amount and investigate the cause of the decreased level.

The gear set according to the directive 94/9/CE, specifically those in a vertical installation, are usually
equipped with an oil expansion vessel in which the caps are present with the service charging
functions, level control and breathe internal overpressure.

Maintenance Driveshaft

Lubricate every 50 hours of weekly work or tube and square
section bar of the cardan (1).
Follow the procedure:
A) With PTO disengaged, simultaneously press the three locks
(2) and push the "skirt" (3) down. Repeat the procedure in "skirt"
the other end.
B) Remove the lock ring (4) at both ends, releasing one of the
parts of the tube.
N.B.: Check if the rod is well
supported in the profile of the
threaded hole.
