FASTER GCD – Issue 03
N.B. Enter the values of the desired time slots in daily timer 2 in order to enable the application of the
discount.
For machines with the cashless system this command makes it possible to apply different price tables. The
selection of the table to be applied at the time of sale occurs automatically through the communication
protocol between machine and reader (only possible for MDB cashless systems which are provided with this
option).
Command 63 Set the mono/multivend:
If the command is set at 0, the default value, the vending machine operates in monovend mode, and in cash
mode the surplus credit is returned. If this is not possible the sum is added to the amount totalled due to
overpricing. Vice versa, if the command is set at 1, the vending machine operates in multivend mode, and the
amount which exceeds the cost, after the sale, is displayed once again and can be recovered by simply
pressing the coin return button or used for a new selection.
Next you have the option of selecting whether or not to keep the overpay at the user's disposal for an
indefinite period of time. 1= function enabled , 0 = function disabled.
Command 64 Sets the message display language:
This command controls the language in which the messages are displayed. Value 0 corresponds to Italian,
value 1 to English, value 2 to French, value 3 to German, value 4 to Dutch, value 5 to Swedish, value 6 to
Finnish and value 7 to Spanish 8 to Portuguese 9 to Danish 10 to Norwegian.
The option for enabling the display of the list of product ingredients is illustrated below (1 = enabled).
Proceed as follows to use this option:
Associate an 8-character identification code with each product.
This code can be programmed for each selection. See command 6 (or use VMC-configurator)
The product ingredient list is contained in an image file memorized on a USB flash drive inserted into
the connector provided on the VMC board. The name of the image corresponds to the product code
with extension .jpg. (e.g. if the product code is 00881133 the corresponding image file will be
00881133.jpg).
When you enter a selection the image file associated with the product code will be displayed.
N.B. The image must measure 480 x 272 pixel and be in jpg format (24 bit colour depth). It can be generated
easily using Paint.
The USB flash drive can memorize the images of all the products managed and not just those actually in the
machine. When you change a product, therefore, it is sufficient to change the code associated with the
selection in command 6.
Commands 66-67 Internal temperature and evaporator temperature display:
The value set at these commands determines the information shown on the second line of the display (see

In this case the temperature of the master is indicated by TM, whereas the temperature of the slave is
indicated by TA.
Furthermore, only during the programming phase, command 67 displays the internal temperature and the
evaporator temperature of any SLAVE machine connected to this machine.
Command 68 Setting displayed currency description :
The command allows the operator to set the desired currency. 4 characters are available and they are

EXECUTIVE with prices managed in the machine (see the associated paragraph)
EXECUTIVE PRICE HOLDING (i.e. prices programmed in the coin mechanism); in this case the prices
programmed in command 03 must be the same as those programmed in the coin mechanism (see the
