f Route supply line, data line (if applicable) and founda-

f Place the base plate on the foundation.
f Align the base plate as appropriate.
f Mark out the drill holes on the foundation.
f Lift the base plate off the foundation.
f Drill the holes in the foundation.

f Insert suitable heavy-duty anchors and threaded rods.
The required heavy-duty anchors are dependent
on various factors such as concrete quality and
foundation depth.
f Seek the advise of an expert if in doubt.
f Place the base plate on the foundation.
f Align the base plate and tighten nuts to secure.

5.3.3 Using prefabricated foundation

The prefabricated foundation from MENNEKES is
designed to accommodate the immediate installation of
the device. The prefabricated foundation from MENNEKES
is available separately as an accessory.

5.3.4 Transporting

Risk of injury due to improper transportation
If the device is not transported correctly, individuals may
be crushed due to the high weight of the device. There is
a risk of injury (e.g. back injuries) when lifting without the
use of transport equipment.
f Never lift the device without the use transport equip-
ment.
f Use suitable transport equipment according to the
local conditions and taking into account the relevant
accident prevention regulations.
f Never step under suspended loads.
f Place the device on level ground only.

ATTENTION
Damage due to improper transportation
Collisions and shocks may damage the device.
f Leave the device packed on the pallet and transport
the pallet to the place of installation.
f Remove the device from the pallet shortly before
installation.
f Move the device with utmost care.
f Set down the device on a soft base.
