4.6.4.1.3 Setup Air Pressure
The DO value measured by meter is in correspondence to atmosphere. The acquiescent air
pressure is 101.3kPa. Before measuring, please select suitable air pressure.
Generally, it is not necessary to set air pressure. The acquiescent value is 103.1kPa.
There are also two ways to set DO air pressure. One is: when calibrate DO electrode, press
'SETUP' key beside air pressure, meter shows an input window, you can input air pressure
directly. Another is: In view using parameter of DO, you can also set air pressure.
5.1. Meter must have good grounding and should avoid corrosive gas.
5.2. Before turning on meter, you must check if power is connected properly.
5.3. Connect power apparatus and turn on the mete. If the screen is not bright, please check if power
apparatus is working or if you utilize the original apparatus. Required power apparatus is：
9VDC，above 800mA，inside is positive and outside is negative.
5.4. The socket should be kept clean, dry and could not be touched with acid, alkali, salty solution.
5.5. Meter can be used stably for long time. After measuring the sample, all electrodes should be
immersed in distilled water.
5.6. When meter is not be used, please connect it with short circuit to avoid any damage of the meter.
5.7. For the measurement of ion select electrode, please refer to relevant material and obey strictly.
5.8. Improper use of conductive electrode will cause abnormal working condition of meter. Please
keep conductive electrode immersed in solution totally. Please take care that the place to install
conductive electrode should be: avoid to be installed in 'dead' corner, it should be installed in the
place with good water cycling.
5.9. For the measuring of high pure water, it should be done in close and flow status. The direction
of water flow is – water can flow into but the flow shouldn't be too speedy.
5.10. If conductivity exceeds 3000μS/cm，bright electrode could not measure correctly.
At this time, please exchange to platinum black electrode to measure.
5.11. When DO electrode is not be used, please keep the electrode in boiled and cooled distilled
water. Please avoid immerse electrode into Na
Na SO solution, meter will be damaged.
