We suggest using TP-16 printer. If you want to use other serial printer, the printing content will be
stagger. Please note.
1. The communication agreement of meter's RS232 is: 9600, N, 8, 1, i.e. baud ratio 9600bps, no
odd/even, 8 bit, one stop bit.
2. When to connect serial printer, please set baud ration according to instructions and set shake hand
method (busy signal) to standard control method.
3. Only connect the printer when the power is cut off and printer is turned off.
4.5.1.1 Setup pH STD Buffer Group
Meter has automatic distinguishing function, can distinguish 10 standard buffer solutions. You can
make multi-points calibration but mostly not exceeds 5 points. Because pH range of 10 standard
buffer solutions maybe duplicated, in order to ensure the precision of measuring result, user needs
to establish relevant STD buffer group. For example, if you want to adopt 4.003pH, 9.182pH
standard buffer solution to calibrate electrode slope, you can set STD buffer group as 4.003pH and
9.182pH. In normal practice, meter can automatically distinguish these two standard buffer
solutions.
Press 'SETUP' key to enter into current STD buffer group, displayed as following chart. In which
there are 10 figures in correspondence to 10 standard buffer solutions in 'Setup pH STD Buffer
Solution' window. These 10 standard buffer solutions are 1.679pH, 3.557pH, 3.776pH, 4.003pH,
6.864pH, 7.000pH, 7.413pH, 9.182pH, 10.012pH and 12.454pH. Under the figure is standard pH
value of STD, for example the figure above 3.56 is in correspondence to 3.557pH STD. The figure
with tick means this standard buffer solution has been selected while no tick on figure means the
solution has not been selected. Opposite color means present STD is operational. Press the figure
with opposite color once more, you can select or delete current STD. The relevant STD range will
be shown under the window.
For example if user wants to select 3.557pH standard buffer solution, press the figure in
correspondence to 3.557pH STD buffer, the figure which indicates 3.56pH will display the
opposite color, press this figure with opposite color again, the figure indicates 3.56pH will be
ticked which means it has been selected.
To avoid duplication of pH value between standard buffer solutions, you should select the STD
buffer which you actually needed and delete all the other STD buffer which you actually don't
needed
