On upper side of the screen is present measuring mode and system time. Measuring main window
displays present conductivity and relevant resistivity, temperature value. On right side is press
button 'VIEW', 'STD', 'STORE', 'PRINT' and 'SETUP'. 'Timed Reading Measuring Mode'
and 'Balance Reading Measuring Mode' will shield 'STORE', 'PRINT' key automatically.
Press 'VIEW' key to view conductivity measuring parameter, (Please refer to 'Conductivity
Measuring Parameter' for details).
Press 'STD' key to re-calibrate conductive constant. (Please refer to 'Conductive Constant
Calibration' for details).
Press 'SETUP' key to set manual temperature.
On the title of measuring main window displays present measuring parameter type. The displayed
is conductivity. On left side, there is an arrow towards right direction, press this arrow to switch
between conductivity, TDS and salinity.
If you select continue measuring mode (Please refer to 'Setup Measuring Mode' for details),
When measuring result stable, you can press 'STORE' to save current measuring result. If it is
connected with TP-16 printer before turning on, you can press 'PRINT' key, meter will print
present measuring data.
If you select 'Timed Reading Measuring Mode' (Please refer to 'Setup Measuring Mode' for
details), meter will automatically measure, calculate and display measuring result. When the time
interval meets the time set by user, meter will automatically store measuring result. If it is
connected with TP-16 printer before turning on, meter will automatically print measuring data and
start next measuring when printing finishes.
If you select 'Balance Reading Measuring Mode' (Please refer to 'Setup Measuring Mode'
for details), When measuring starts, meter will automatically measure, calculate and display
measuring result. In case the measuring suits the set balance condition, the measuring finishes! At
this time, you can press 'STORE' to save current measuring result. If it is connected with TP-16
printer before turning on, you can press 'PRINT' key, meter will print present measuring data.
Press 'X' on top right corner and the press 'ENTER' to finish the measuring.
4.6.4.1.1 Conductive Constant Calibration
Each electrode is marked electrode constant when ex-factory. If you suspect the correctness of
electrode constant, you can re-calibrate the electrode according to following procedure:
Select suitable standard solution (see chart 1) according to electrode constant. For the compound,
please see (chart 2), the relationship between standard solution land conductivity value, (see chart
3).
i. Connect the conductive electrode with meter, turn off temperature electrode (meter does not
connect with temperature sensor), meter regards manual temperature as present temperature
value, set manual temperature as 25℃, the conductivity vale displayed now is the absolute
conductivity which is not be temperature compensated.
