4.1. Installation
measure conductivity, TDS and salinity, use DO-958-S dissolved oxygen electrode (16) to
measure dissolved oxygen, dissolved oxygen saturation, use T-818-B-6 temperature sensor (17)
to measure temperature. Put relevant electrode on multi-function electrode supporter (21) and
pull off the cover (13).
c) Pull off Q9 short circuit plug, insert pH combined electrode (12) into pH electrode socket (9),
insert DJS-1C conductive electrode (15) into conductive electrode socket (7), insert DO-958-S
dissolved oxygen electrode (16) into dissolved oxygen socket (6), insert T-818-B-6 temperature
sensor (17) into temperature socket (11), insert 9V,800mA power adaptor (inside positive,
outside negative) (20) into power socket (4)
If user has serial TP-16 printer (for detailed installation, setting and operating, please refer to the
instruction of printer or relevant chapter of the meter), please insert printer's connection line (18)
into RS-232 interface (5)
If user needs the communication connection, Please insert RS-232 communication line (19) into
RS-232 interface (5).
d). When all connections are properly connected, turn on the meter and you can start to measure
according to following procedure.
4.2 Switch on/off the meter
Insert the power apparatus (9VDC 800mA power adapter, inside is positive and outside is negative)
matched with meter into power socket then turn on the meter, meter displays 'MP-2006
multi-parameter analyzer'. Wait for a while, meter enters into start mode, user can use the meter
now.
When you finish using, please insert short circuit plug into pH electrode socket, and then turn off
the meter.
Note: Please follow below regulations and use the meter carefully to avoid any damage to the
meter!
a. Meter should be pre-heated for 0.5h before measuring
b. For the measuring in ion part, in order to guarantee the precision of the measurement, suggest
make zero point potential calibration after pre-heated for 0.5h. Usually when pH electrode socket
is connected with short circuit plug, user could find the displayed potential value excurse from

a). Put Main body (1) and multi-function supporter (21）on
table.
b). If you need to measure solution's pH value, conductivity,
dissolved oxygen etc..., please separately select relevant
electrode attached with meter (or you can select other
electrode). Please use pH combined electrode (12) to
measure pH value, use DJS-1C conductive electrode (15) to
