temperature. You can calibrate in this way but it is a little complicated.
For normal standard buffer solution, you can use automatic distinguish function. To match with
previous STD buffer group set before, meter can automatically distinguish these standard buffer
solutions. You don't need to change distinguish method to calibrate (if it can not distinguish, meter
will remind user: wrong calibration and request user to exchange electrode or to re-set STD group,
or to exchange automatic distinguish method to manual distinguish method, you can select either
according to the normal practice.)
If you use your own standard buffer solution (not normal STD) to calibrate electrode, you must
select manual distinguish method.
For example, user has one standard buffer solution and the known pH value at 25℃ is 2.704pH, at
25.1℃ is2.710pH, 25.2℃ is 2.720pH, then we suggest stabilize the calibration temperature at 25℃.
When calibration starts, firstly set distinguish method to 'MANU', wait till display stable, press
'ENTER' key, meter will request user to input pH value at present temperature, if present
temperature is 25.2℃, please input 2.720pH and press 'ENTER' key. When input finishes, meter
will store present calibration data.
If user either has normal standard buffer solution or has his own standard buffer solution then he
can operate separately according to automatic distinguish method and manual distinguish method.
4.6.1.2 Setup mV Resolution
You can select mV displayed resolution, i.e. 0.1mV or 0.01mV. Press 'SETUP' key, select 'Setup
mV Resolution' and then press 'ENTER' key to set mV displayed resolution. When setting finishes,
meter returns to measuring mode.
All parts hereafter about 'setup mV Resolution' are operated according to this instruction.
4.6.1.3 Setup pX Resolution
You can select pX displayed resolution, i.e. 0.01pX or 0.001pX. Press 'SETUP' key, select 'Set pX
resolution' and then press 'ENTER' key to set pX displayed resolution. When setting finishes,
meter returns to measuring mode.
All parts hereafter about 'pH, pX resolution' are operated according to this instruction.
4.6.1.4 Calibrate Zero Point Potential
To ensure the high precision of meter, please calibrate potential zero point 0.5h after turning on the
meter. Connect the meter with short circuit plug, when potential displayed value excurse from zero
point potential (0.00mV) far, you need to calibrate zero point potential. Press 'SETUP' key, select
'Calibrate zero point potential' and press 'ENTER' key, meter reminds you 'Calibrate current zero
point potential?', press 'ENTER' key to calibrate zero point potential. Otherwise, press 'CANCEL'
to give up the operation and return to measuring mode.
All parts hereafter about 'Calibrate zero point potential' are operated according to this instruction.
