Commissioning / programming
- In media or area coupler mode projecting and com-
missioning is performed via ETS 2 V 1.1 or higher. If
the system coupler is used as a repeater, commis-
sioning can also be performed via Power-Project ver-
sion 4.0 or higher.
- During projecting and commissioning under ETS the
system coupler is treated as a TP line or area coupler
and should be integrated in the associated line as the
first device (device address x.x.0 or x.0.0).
- If the system coupler is integrated in an already
programmed Powernet system, all devices of the
system have to be reprogrammed.
- Because of the high data rate the system coupler
should be programmed from the TP side. Program-
ming via other couplers (e.g. line couplers) is not
allowed.
- Powernet devices should be programmed exclusively
from the Powernet side on the associated Powernet
line. Powernet devices must not be programmed
across more than one system coupler. Twisted Pair
devices should be programmed from the Twisted Pair
side.
