Commissioning / programming
- If Powernet systems are coupled, a specific system
ID has to be allocated to every Powernet area (line)
(see the area coupler circuit diagram).
- Prior to programming, the system ID and the physical
address of the local RS 232 interface have to be ad-
justed properly depending on the location of use (ad-
dress area of the associated line).
Programming
- Switch on the mains supply.
- Select the desired operating mode on the system
coupler (see unit design, item 8).
- Press the programming button on the device. The red
programming LED goes on.
- After programming the red LED goes out.
Write the physical address on the device using a
smudge-proof pen.
