3. MECHANICAL FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Set-up : Engine cold. Disconnect additional air control 15, heating corrector

3.1 Main circuit pressure check
Bridge the fuel pump relay. Close the 3-way coupling valve.
Pressure too low
Pinch the fuel return flexible hose for 1 second
Record the maximum pressure
Pressure correct
Pressure regulator defective
3.2 Control pressure check with engine cold
Start the fuel pump. Open the 3-way coupling valve
Pressure too high
3.3 Control pressure check with engine hot
Start the fuel pump and connect the heating corrector.
The pressure increases for 3 to 6 minutes
Run the test at residual pressure 3.4

Check the electrical connections of the heating corrector. The minimum
voltage should be 11.5 V.
