PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Designated use
The ball hitch is suitable for mounting on drawbars
or overrun hitches with type approval, and con-
nects the towing vehicle to the trailer.
CAUTION!
The ball hitch is only allowed to be used
with 50 mm diameter hitch balls!
The ball hitch forms part of the drawbar
installation of the trailer. It is only allowed
to be used in the completely assembled
system and after having been tested. It
must be used for connecting the trailer to
the towing vehicle. Comply with the per-
mitted weight ranges and imposed loads.

Only use the ball hitch in conjunction with
hitch balls 50 acc. to ECE R55-01.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DANGER!
Danger of accidents due to disconnec-
tion while driving!
Each time after hitching up, check the
ball hitch is securely seated on the ball
on the towing vehicle.
CAUTION!
Do not stand on the hand grip.
This might damage components.
ASSEMBLY

OPERATION
Safety
DANGER!
Danger of accidents due to disconnec-
tion while driving!
Each time after hitching up, check the
ball hitch is securely seated on the ball
on the towing vehicle.
Comply with the swivelling range
vertical ±25° / horizontal ±20°
The ball hitch must be greased, otherwise
scoring could be caused on the hitch ball and
in the hitch housing
Activating the hitch mechanism
1 Pull up the hand grip.
The ball hitch is opened.
Hitching up
1 Place the ball hitch on the ball head.
The ball hitch engages automatically if the im-
posed load is sufficient.
If the imposed load is not sufficient, push the
ball hitch downwards by hand until the ball
hitch engages (e.g. tandem trailer).
2 Check the ball hitch is securely seated.
ADVICE
The hitch is located correctly on the ball
when the green cylinder of the safety in-
dicator is visible.
