PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The AKS 3004/3504 is a safety coupling head with
stabilisation device. It forms part of a trailer draw-
bar installation and is used to connect the trailer
to the towing vehicle.
After coupling and actuation of the stabilisation
handle, four special friction pads are pressed from
the left and right and from the front and rear
against the car's towball. Swaying or pitching mo-
vements are thus effectively reduced before they
become serious. The maximum braking torque of
the pads can be 300 Nm.

Towballs of Class A50-1 (01)
Towballs of Class S (except: Westfalia Type

Screw-in towballs that are not positively lo-
cked (02)
Overrun devices with a rotating drawbar tube
