Function and application

The slides of the guide axis ELFA-RF-... support a load so that it can move. Owing to the coupling with a
drive axis (e.g. ELGA-TB-RF-...), the slide 4 moves forwards and backwards. The slide is roller-guided.
An extended slide on the guide enables a loading with higher torques.
Query the reference position of the slide as follows (è Chapter 9 Accessories):
– Switch lug and proximity sensor in the slots 9
– Switch lug and proximity sensor in the sensor bracket.
The intended use of the ELFA guide axis is to form the basis of
boom or gantry systems using a drive axis and a passive guide axis.
The guide axis is permitted for slide operation.
