Function and application
The electric gripper HGPLE is designed for gripping and holding payloads in conjunction with the motor
controller SFC-DC.
The HGPLE is a gripper with built-in motor. The rotation of the gripper is converted by a mechanism into
a linear motion of the gripper jaws. Gripper fingers are fastened to the gripper jaws. The opening and
closing action of the gripper fingers enables them to grasp loads by their outer or inner contour.
The encoder on the motor transmits the current rotation angle of the motor to the SFC-DC. This motor
controller operates with a closed-loop control circuit. The controller converts specified setpoint values
for speed and position into a current signal for the motor with a high degree of accuracy.
