WARNING
To avoid injury from an accidental start, turn the switch OFF and remove the battery from the main body before making
any adjustments.
All electrical or mechanical repairs should be done only by qualified service technicians. Contact HiKOKI Authorized
Service Center.
Consult HiKOKI Authorized Service Center if for any reason the motor will not run.
1. Power tool
PROBLEM
Saw will not start.
Does not make 45° and 90° rip
cuts.
Material pinches blade when
ripping.
Material binds on riving knife.

◌ Gum or pitch on blade causing erratic
feed.
◌ Riving knife not aligned correctly with

◌ Feeding stock without rip fence.
◌ Riving knife not in place.
◌ Dull blade.
◌ The operator letting go of material before
it is past saw blade.
◌ Mitre gauge lock knob is not tightened.
◌ Sawdust and dirt in elevation/beveling
mechanisms.
◌ Extension cord too light or too long.
◌ Low house voltage.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
◌ Insert the battery into the tool until you
hear a click.
◌ Recharge the battery pack.
◌ Keep ambient operating temperature at
-10°~40°C.
◌ Turn the switch on.
