Loading Paper

This procedure shows you how to load paper into an empty printer.
Make sure the printer is powered on.
1.
Open the printer cover.
2.
Raise the forms thickness lever as far as it will go.
3.
The display indicates "CLOSE PLATEN" and the printer may
beep if alarm is enabled.
4.
Open both tractor doors.
5.
Unload the current paper, if necessary (page 52).
6.
Open the cabinet front door.
7.
Align the paper supply with the label on the floor. Ensure that
the paper pulls freely from the box.
