Control electronics

The trigger electronics generate defined triggering pro-
files for actuation of the injectors. In one test the trig-
ger electronics can actuate up to six passenger vehicle
injectors (CRI 1/2) or up to four commercial vehicle
injectors (CRIN 1/2/3). Actuation for several injectors is
always sequential.
The trigger electronics are supplied with power via the
EPS 708 test bench or - with the EPS 815 - by way of
an external voltage stabilizer. Depending on the type of
injector, the power supply must be set to 14 V or 28 V.
On the EPS 708, the voltage is set automatically in ac-
cordance with the test sequence. With the EPS 815, the
voltage has to be set manually on the voltage stabilizer.
The trigger electronics are connected to the PC unit in
the EPS 708/EPS 815 by way of the RS 232 interface.
In addition to this the PCB and the control electronics
housing provide extension options for future injector
generations.
