use the appliance if the cable or plug is
damaged.
• Do not use the appliance in the open air.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• For greater protection, we recommend
installing a residual current device (RCD)
with an operational residual current not
exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for
advice.
CAUTION: When the appliance is operating,
both the baskets and the condensed steam on
the lid can reach very high temperatures and
there is a risk of scalding.
Open the lid carefully to avoid scalding yourself
with the steam and let the water drip inside the
steam cooker as indicated in Figure 5.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the
handles. Use a handle for hot containers
when you remove the lid and when
handling the hot containers to avoid
burning yourself.
• Do not stand close to the appliance during
the cooking process. If you need to check
the cooking progress or stir, use a long
handled utensil.
• Do not move the appliance from one place
to another when it contains hot food, water
or any hot element when there is a risk of it
spilling and causing burns.
• Do not operate the appliance in the
presence of products or inflammable
gases.
• If you decide not to use the appliance any
more, it is better to make it unusable by
cutting the power cable after unplugging it.
4. BEFORE USING IT FOR
THE FIRST TIME
• Extract the appliance and all its
accessories from the packaging, remove
the possible labels from the appliance
and check that the product is intact.
If not, consult the closest authorised
Technical Attention Service.
• Clean all the parts except for the base
body (J) in hot water and with neutral
soap before using it.
• To clean inside the base body (J), use a
damp dishcloth.
• Rinse and dry completely.
5. HOW TO USE IT
1. Fit the base body (J) on a firm and
stable surface, far from anything which
could be damaged by the steam (such
as walls and overhead cupboards).
2. Fill the deposit (G) inside the base
body (J) with tap water. The water level
should be between the MAX and MIN
markets (Fig. 2)
Caution: Do not add anything other than
water to the deposit (G) nada que no sea

3. Fit the drip tray (E) on the base body
(J) and make sure that it is properly
adjusted (Fig. 3). If you wish, you can
put herbs or spices in the aromatising
filter (F) to add flavour.
Caution: Do not use the appliance without
the drip tray (E). The appliance base (J)
must always be covered by the drip tray.
4. Put the food in the baskets. See the
section on "USING THE BASKETS".
Make sure that the top basket fits
correctly over the lower one before
switching the machine on.
5. Fit the lid on the top basket (A).
6. Plug the appliance into the mains and
the pilot light will come on (Fig.4).
Select the cooking time with the timer
(L). In order to select the time, you can
consult the recommended time table. In
30 seconds it will start to emit steam.
Caution: The timer works independently of
whether the appliance is plugged into the
mains or not. Make sure that the pilot light
is on when the timer is programmed.
Caution: During operation, do not touch
the base, the baskets or the lid given that
they get very hot.
7. When the steaming has finished, the
timer will ring and the steam function
