Connect the Plugs
Grounding Plug Requirements
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Do not force the
three-prong plug into the grounded outlet, modify the
three-prong plug, or use a plug adapter. The product has a
three-prong plug (Figure 1), where the third prong on a plug
provides a path to ground for electricity that is straying or
leaking from a product. This helps protect the equipment and
can help prevent electric shock. This plug will fit in a
grounded outlet only one way.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Connect the polarized
plug and the three-prong plug to a properly grounded outlet
only.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Unplug the three-prong
plug from the grounded outlet before moving, testing,
cleaning, or repairing this product. When unplugged, the
electric cords will no longer be electrically live, which will
eliminate the risk of electric shock.
Polarized Plug Requirements
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Do not force the
polarized plug into the polarized outlet, modify the polarized
plug, or use a plug adapter. The product has a polarized plug
(Figure 2), which means one blade of the plug is wider than
the other. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Unplug the polarized
plug from the grounded outlet before moving, testing,
