NOTE! Some materials may undergo chemical reactions in combination with
humidity/water. Such humidity may, for example, form if the humidity in the
extracted air is condensed in the filter.

a relief duct or changing the spacing or length of filter elements affects the
calculations according to EN 14491.

Atex components

The FlexFilter EX comes equipped with several electrical and mechanical
components which fall under the scope of the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.
To maintain the high level of safety with regards to the product classification,
the individual ATEX components of the FlexFilter EX should not be altered
or tampered with. Components, such as solenoids, magnetic sensors and
terminal box must be maintained according to their respective component
manual. Chapter 12. Electrical installation contains further information
regarding the ATEX approved terminal box.

Foreword

This manual contains instructions and warnings and constitutes the
documentation that must be supplied and kept together with the product;
otherwise the product would be lacking in one of its fundamental safety
requisites.
The manual must be kept with care and made available to all persons involved
in operating the equipment.
The warnings are intended to ensure the safety of persons exposed to the risks
inherent in the operation and handling of this equipment.
This product is designed to meet the requirements of the relevant EC
directives. To maintain this status all installation, repair and maintenance work
must be carried out by qualified personnel using only original spare parts.
