Description

FlexFilter EX is designed to filter potentially combustible dusts in a high
vacuum system and it complies with the ATEX directive.

Dust separators

The dust separator (see picture no. 4 / A) filters the dust from the processed
air. There are two standard types of dust separators.
Single (one filter)
Twin (two filters)
The dust separators are modular in their design. The dust separator is
generally equipped with an explosion relief panel, but other types of explosion
protection measures are available. See chapter 9. Explosion protection for
more information.
The dust separators are equipped with a TVFD, Twin Valve Feed out Device,
which facilitates automatic emptying of the dust collector without loss of
vacuum.
