2.2 - Data Recording

The recording of the tightening data can be activated/inactivated in the second menu item:
Action
Press to start the Data Recording features.
Press or to toggle between "Roff" and "Ron".
Press when "Roff" is flashing.
Press when "Ron" is flashing to start the Data
Recording.
Press during 3s to validate.
Tighten (up to 30 times).
The CVIPFlex software, available in option, offers the possibility to transfer the recorded data to a PC.

2.3 - Joint Stiffness

The joint stiffness can be changed in the third menu item: possible values for the joint stiffness are Hard, Medium and Soft.
Action
Press to change the joint stiffness.
Press or to toggle the joint stiffness (several
times, if necessary).
When the desired joint stiffness is flashing, press
to select it.
Press during 3s to validate the selected stiffness.

Display / Result
2nd menu item - Data Recording:
"Roff" is displayed (data recording off, by default). The
"REC" LED lights ON.
"Roff" starts flashing.
"Ron" or "Roff" is flashing.
"Roff" is displayed. Return to the "Data Recording" menu.
"Ron" stops flashing and lights continuously.
The Data Recording is started. "--" is displayed. The
"REC" LED lights ON.
Ready to tighten (with data recording).
The "REC" LED lights ON until the end of the recording:
- either after 30 tightenings or
- as the tool is switched off or
- as the user unselects the Data Recording in the Advanced
Programming mode.
Display / Result
3rd menu item - Joint Stiffness:
"MED", "SOFT" or "HARD" is displayed, depending on
the previous choice. "MED" is selected by default, for
medium joint stiffness. The "Torque" LED lights ON.
The display ("MED", "SOFT" or "HARD") flashes.
"HARD", "MED" or "SOFT" starts flashing (depending on
the number of pressures).
"HARD", "MED" or "SOFT" is selected, depending on the
display. The selected joint stiffness stops flashing.
The selected joint stiffness is validated. "--" is displayed.
The "Torque" LED lights OFF.
Ready to tighten with the selected joint stiffness: hard,
medium or soft.
