3.2- Description of the machine

The centrifugal Fertilizer and Seed Spreader operates centrally from the tractor, couplet
to the arms of the three-point hydraulic lift system.
Continuous flow
It has two rotors spreaders with four launchers each, mounted horizontally so
that the fertilizer is distributed with a continuous horizontal flow.
The oscillating agitators mounted on the reservoir outlets ensure continuous
distribution flow, preventing the formation of tunnels and clumps (clods) that
can block the flow openings.
Dosing control
A system of bipartite and overlapping plates, positioned at the bottom of the reservoir,
opens and closes the opening, regulating the mass flow on the rotors. The opening
and closing of the dosing plates is done by hydraulic cylinders.
A turntable with aperture in the bottom determines the point where the product
falls on the rotor.
The combination of the specific weight of the material, application rate and
the point the material falls on the rotors determines the range of application
and the uniformity in distribution.
Uniformity
The launchers can be set at different positions on the disc. Altering the angle of attack
adjusts the concentration of the spread product, making the distribution more uniform.
Robust Construction
Thanks to its robust construction, polyethylene reservoir, polyamide/fiberglass protective
grid and tubular structure, the machine is sturdy and safe during operation.
The fastening elements (nuts, bolts, washers), rotor disks, launchers, dosing plates and
dosing bottoms are made of stainless steel, giving a longer machine life.
