thoroughly with soap and water at the end of each work shift, especially
before eating.
ƒ Fertilizers that contain nitrate can create an explosion risk if they come into
contact with fire.
ƒ After use, wash the machine thoroughly with water. Do not leave any residual
fertilizer inside the reservoir to avoid the risk of fire.
ƒ The machine must be driven by only one person, who must perform the
operation while remaining on the tractor. This way you will be out of the
danger zone. There may be no other persons in the vicinity of the machine
or the tractor. Remaining in the work area or danger zone may result in an

ƒ The use of a cab tractor offers additional operator protection, but it does not
necessarily replace the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Always
follow the fertilizer manufacturer's instructions regarding the use of Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling and distributing fertilizers or seeds.
