Disposal of used batteries.
The delivered batteries should not be reloaded, re-
activated, dismantled, put in fire or short-circuited.
If the wrong type of battery is inserted, there is a
danger of explosion.
This symbol indicates that batteries may
not be discarded with normal household
garbage. The letters Hg (quicksilver) and
Pb (lead) below the crossed-out garbage container
also indicate that the battery contains more than
0.0005% quicksilver or 0.004% lead.
Incorrect disposal damages the environment and
health, material recycling saves valuable raw ma-
terials. When disposing of this product, remove all
batteries and take them to a collection point for the
recycling of batteries or electric and electronic de-
vices.
Information about such collection points can be ob-
tained from your local community authorities, waste
disposal company, or the dealership where this pro-
duct was sold.
Almost all batteries contain chemicals which are
not dangerous to the skin, but which should none-
theless be handled like other chemicals. Always
take appropriate safety measures when batteries
