cleAninG the Filter

Follow these steps if your spray gun is equipped with a filter. If you
i
have the version without a filter, disregard these instructions.
The gun filter should be cleaned after every use.
1. Perform the "Pressure Relief Procedure"
described in the sprayer's Owner's
Manual. Make sure the spray gun is
locked.
2. Grip the nut (1) just above the swivel
with an adjustable wrench.
3. Grip the flats on the fluid tube (2) with a
second adjustable wrench.
4. While keeping the fluid tube (2) secure,
loosen the nut (1) and remove the filter
housing (3).
5. Slide the old filter (4) out of the fluid
tube (5). Clean or replace with a new
filter.
6. Install a new or cleaned filter by
inserting the tapered end into the fluid
tube.
7. Replace the filter housing. Grip the flats (2) on the fluid tube with one
adjustable wrench, and tighten the nut (1) with the second wrench.
