The DePuy Mitek MILAGRO BR Interference Screw
should not be used without prior review of the
procedure and Instructions for Use.
Inspect instruments for damage prior to use.
Replace damaged or worn instruments. Do not
attempt to repair.
It is mandatory to completely seat the MILAGRO BR
Interference Screw onto the correct driver for proper
implant delivery.
Notching and/or tapping are necessary when inserting
the interference screw with bone tendon grafts.

ADVERSE EFFECTS

Adverse effects of the absorbable implanted devices
include mild inflammatory and foreign body reactions.
MRI STATEMENT
MILAGRO BR Interference Screws are MR safe.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Create tunnel or socket in bone for reattachment or
reconstruction of a tendon or ligament.
2. Insert the tendon, ligament or graft into the tunnel
or socket created in bone.
3. If a BTB graft is being used for a reconstruction,
place a guidewire between the tunnel and the
bone plug. Insert the Notcher instrument over the
guidewire and notch the socket or tunnel. Once
notching is complete insert the Tap instrument over
the guidewire and tap the full length of the screw
that will be inserted. If a ST graft is being used for
a reconstruction or a tendon is being reattached,
place the guidewire between the tunnel and the
graft or tendon.
4. Load the interference screw onto the appropriate
driver.
