SWITCHING THE BURNER ON AND OFF

Important
Before proceeding with this operation
check that the well is not raised and resting
firmly on fixed part of appliance.
1 - Turn on the gas supply tap.
2 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 1) to turn on
the electricity supply.
The mains light (C) comes on.
3 - Press the knob (B) and turn it anti-clockwise
(pos. 3) to light the pilot light.
Keep the knob pressed for about 15 sec. to
prime the thermocouple.
4 - Press the knob (B) and turn it anti-clockwise
(pos. 4) to light the burner.
5 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 1) to the tem-
perature required.
The temperature light (D) comes on. The light
goes out once the temperature is reached.
Turning off
1 - Press the knob (B) and turn it clockwise (pos. 5)
to turn off the burner.
The pilot light will remain on to allow the burner
to be re-lit.
2 - Press the knob (B) and turn it clockwise (pos. 6)
to turn off the pilot light.
3 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 2) to turn off
the electricity supply.
The mains light (C) goes out.
4 - Turn off the gas supply tap.
5 - Cut off the mains electricity supply using the ap-
pliance's master switch.
