This is the menu for starting the vacuum
unit. The starting process differs if the
installation is not fitted with automatic
start/stop (A) or is fitted with automatic
start /stop controlled by a pilot signal
cable from micro switches on vacuum
outlets (B).
The direction of rotation must be checked
in the following and the unit stopped
if rotation is wrong. Short term wrong
direction of rotation is not harmful to the
vacuum unit.
If direction of rotation is right, let the
unit complete the start. If rotation is
wrong, press
to stop the unit. Shift

The installation is ready for start but
is waiting for a start command from a
vacuum outlet. Should it start at this
point a vacuum outlet is open (the micro
switch closed) or the pilot signal cable is
damaged causing a shortcut. Faultfinding
as per the vacuum unit manual. (For test,
temporary disconnect the pilot signal
cable from terminals 3–4.)
