Possible Causes
The ice maker switch is in
the on position, but the
water supply to the refrigera-
tor is not connected.
The power switch of the
automatic ice maker is in the
off position.
The water is closed or not
connected.
The freezer compartment is
too warm.
Cubes stacked in the bowl
turn the ice maker off.
Ice cubes stuck in the ice
maker (The green power
light on the ice maker is
flashing).
Door left open.
The temperature control is
not cold enough.
Water filter is clogged.
The water dispenser has not
been used for a long time.
This is normal with a newly
installed refrigerator.
The water dispenser has not
been used for a long time.
The water system has been
drained.
Water supply turned off or
not connected.

What to do?
• Set the power switch to the off position; keeping the switch in the
on position will damage the water valve.
• Turn the power switch to the on position.
• See Installing the Water Line.
• Wait 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool down.
• Level the ice cubes by hand.
• Turn off the ice maker, remove the cubes, and turn the ice maker
back on.
• Check if there is a package holding the door open.
• See Controls.
• Replace the filter cartridge with a new one or with the cap.
• Dispense water until the entire water system fills up again.
• Wait 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool down.
• Dispense water until the entire water system fills up again.
• Allow several hours for the replacement supply to cool.
• See Installing the Water Line.
• Change the filter cartridge or remove the filter and install the plug.
• Press the dispenser arm for a couple of minutes.
• Call for service.
• Set the temperature control to a warmer level.
• Let the water run from the dispenser for 3 minutes (approx. 6 liters).
