General instructions

The CP valve terminal is designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators. The specified limit values for pressures,
temperatures, electrical data, torques etc. must be observed.
Detailed information on the pneumatic components of the valve
terminal can be found in the pneumatics manual P.BE-CPV-....
WARNING
• Switch off the power supply before connecting or dis-
connecting plugs (otherwise functioning may be impaired).
• Connect a protective earth conductor with sufficient cross
section to the earth/ground connection marked with
if the valve terminal is not mounted on an earthed machine
stand.
PLEASE NOTE
Commission only a valve terminal which is completely fitted
and wired.
CAUTION
The valve terminal contains electrostatically-charged compo-
nents. These components will be damaged if you touch the
contact surfaces of the plug connectors or if the regulations
for handling electrostatically-charged elements are not
observed.
