3.1 Assigning the AS-Interface address

Please note
The AS-Interface address of the valve terminal type
CPV..-GE-ASI-4E4A-... is stored electronically (no bat-
tery) after every modification and can be modified at
least 10 times. After that the valve terminal maintains
the last set AS-Interface address.
We recommend that you use the Festo addresser type ASI-
PRG-ADR with adapter cable type KASI-ADR.
Before connecting to the AS-Interface bus: assign an un-
used address to each slave. Set the desired address with
the AS-Interface addresser. The permitted address range is
1 ... 31.
The factory setting of the terminal is address 0. It is not
necessary to parametrize the AS-Interface slaves.
