1. Deactivate the control interface of the MTR−DCI (device
control with control panel: HMI = on).
2. Select the drive type and, if necessary, adapt the
parametrizing to the axis.
3. Set the parameters for the reference travel (homing):

After successful reference travel:
5. Teach axis zero point and working area:
6. Enter position sets (target position, positioning mode,
positioning speed).
7. Check the positioning behaviour of the axis, reference
coordinates and working area (test run).
8. If necessary, optimize the position sets, reference
coordinates and working area.
9. Test the control interface (device control with control
panel HMI = off ).
10. Protect settings against unauthorized access with a
password.
