Introduction
The purpose of this manual is to describe the INGECON SUN LITE equipment and to provide guidelines for its correct use.
All installation and maintenance operations must be performed by qualified personnel. There is an electrical
shock hazard.
STOP
The user must never open the equipment or tamper with its cables.
Caution:
The radiator can reach temperatures of 85ºC.
Ensure that there is a good circulation of air for
adequate radiator ventilation.
Do not locate heat sensitive materials in the vicinity of the inverter.
The ambient temperature at the place of installation must be between -10
and 65 ºC.

1.1 Description of the equipment

An inverter is an electronic circuit used to convert direct current into alter-
nating current. The function of the INGECON SUN LITE equipment is
therefore to convert the direct current generated by the PV solar panels
into alternating current that can then be delivered to the power grid.
A further function is to perform maximum power point tracking, in order to
maximise the amount of energy obtained from the PV array.
The INGECON SUN LITE inverters are fully automatic, with no user manipulation or maintenance

required.
Fotovoltaicos
The LEDs located on the front panel serve to indicate any inverter operating problems or malfunction. Follow the instructions
provided in the «Troubleshooting» section.
For safety reasons, users should heed the «Safety warnings» given at the beginning of this introduction.
Automatic operation
A weak light at dawn on the PV array, activates the inverter (flashing green light on the front
panel).
Once there is sufficient solar power, the inverter performs a self-check (the green light
continues to flash).
Energy is subsequently delivered to the power grid (the green light remains on).
The inverter disconnects automatically when irradiance is low.
The inverter may switch itself on and off several times during the day, depending on the variations in the solar light.
In the event of an electricity power cut, the inverter will disconnect itself from the power grid.
The Ingecon® Sun inverters are equipped with an automatic disconnection (and reconnection) device which complies with all the
requirements of the applicable safety standards.
The user has the possibility of manually disconnecting the inverter from the power grid, through the front display. This Run / Stop
status will not change, even if the inverter shuts down.
