Operation
Insert the Geberit Mapress adapter jaw into the pressing tool
WARNING
Risk of injury caused by the use of defective pressing collars and
adapter jaws
Only use pressing collars and adapter jaws that are in perfect
working order and are maintained. See also the chapter "Avoiding
hazards caused by defective pressing collars and adapter jaws".
WARNING
Risk of injury caused by incorrect use
Only use pressing collars and adapter jaws which carry the same
compatibility mark as the pressing tool.
The procedure for inserting the adapter jaw depends on the type of pressing
tool. This is described in the relevant operation manual for the pressing tool.
Press with Geberit Mapress pressing collar [3], ø 76.1 and ø 88.9 mm

page of this document.

Wear protective goggles and a hard hat.
WARNING! Risk of injury caused by the use of incorrect pressing
attachments. The diameter of the pressing attachment must match the
diameter of the pressfitting.

To open the pressing collar, pull the two segment shells apart. Place the open
pressing collar on the fitting bead of the pressfitting in accordance with
Figure A, steps 1 and 2.

Check that the sliding segments move as they are meant to. Align the marks
on the sliding segments and the segment shells in such a way that they form
a line.

Place the pressing collar on the pressfitting correctly and do not tilt, in
accordance with Figure A, step 3.
