WARNING! The pressing collar can be damaged by a faulty pressing
operation. Replace and scrap damaged pressing collars. If you suspect that
the pressing collar is damaged: replace the pressing collar and have the
damaged pressing collar tested by an authorised repair shop.
ATTENTION! Leaking connection caused by failed pressing sequence
After the pressing procedure, check that the pressing collar is fully closed.
Have any pressing collars that have not been closed completely, as well as
the pressing tool, tested by an authorised repair shop. Replace any
connections that have not been pressed correctly. They must not be
pressed again. If there are any burrs on the pressfitting after the pressing
procedure, have the pressing collar tested by an authorised repair shop.

Push the ends of the jaw lever together and remove adapter jaw ZB 324 or
ZB 222 from the pressing collar.

Unlock the locking pin. To do this, push the release lever towards the
pressing collar in accordance with Figure H.
Result
The locking pin is in position 1.
The pressing collar is loosened.

Push in the locking pin, open the pressing collar and detach it in accordance
with Figure J.
If a press connection has not been completely pressed – in the event of a
power failure, for example – it must be pressed again. The pressing collar
must not be removed or rotated during the process. Corrective pressing is
performed in the same way as a normal pressing operation. Depending on
the state of the preliminary pressing, there may be considerable idle stroke
before the pressing tool engages during corrective pressing.
