Turn the closed pressing collar to the pressing position.

To open adapter jaw ZB 323 or ZB 221, push the ends of the jaw lever
together. Guide the claws of the open adapter jaw into the grooves of the
pressing collar and hook them into the pins in accordance with Figure B,
steps 1 and 2.
WARNING! The claws of the adapter jaw must fully grasp the pins of the
pressing collar in accordance with Figure B, step 3.

Release both jaw levers.
CAUTION! Danger of crushing! Keep your hands at a safe distance from the
pressing collar.

Press the pressfitting in accordance with the operation manual for the
pressing tool.
WARNING! A failed pressing sequence can damage the pressing collar as
well as the adapter jaw. Replace and scrap damaged pressing attachments.
If you suspect that the pressing attachments are damaged, replace them and
have the damaged pressing attachments tested by an authorised repair
shop.
ATTENTION! Leaking connection caused by failed pressing sequence After
the pressing procedure, check that the pressing collar is fully closed in
accordance with Figure C. Have any pressing collars that have not been
closed completely, as well as the pressing tool, tested by an authorised
repair shop. Replace any connections that have not been pressed correctly.
They must not be pressed again. If there are any burrs on the pressfitting
after the pressing procedure, have the pressing collar tested by an
authorised repair shop.

Push the ends of the jaw lever together and remove the adapter jaw from the
pressing collar.

Open the pressing collar and detach it.
If a press connection has not been completely pressed – in the event of a
power failure, for example – it must be pressed again. The pressing collar
must not be removed or rotated during the process. Corrective pressing is
performed in the same way as a normal pressing operation. Depending on
the state of the preliminary pressing, there may be considerable idle stroke
before the pressing tool engages during corrective pressing.
