Press with Geberit Mapress pressing collar [3], ø 108 mm
Pressing with the Geberit Mapress pressing collar ø 108 mm is performed in two
stages with two different adapter jaws:
• preliminary pressing with pressing collar and adapter jaw ZB 323 or ZB 221
• final pressing with pressing collar and adapter jaw ZB 324 or ZB 222
After correct preliminary pressing, the pressing collar can no longer be removed
from the pressfitting.

WARNING
Risk of injury caused by flying fragments
Wear protective goggles and a hard hat.
WARNING! Risk of injury caused by the use of incorrect pressing
attachments. The diameter of the pressing attachment must match the
diameter of the pressfitting.

To open the pressing collar, push in the locking pin and at the same time, pull
the pressing collar apart at the locking lug.

Check that the sliding segments move as they are meant to. Align the marks
on the sliding segments and the segment shells in such a way that they form
a line in accordance with Figure D.

Place the open pressing collar on the fitting bead of the pressfitting in
accordance with Figure E.

Place the pressing collar on the pressfitting correctly and do not tilt, in
accordance with Figure E.
Result
The pressing collar is correctly positioned when the centring plate is pointing
towards the pipe.

Slide the locking lug over the locking pin until it snaps into place and the
pressing collar firmly surrounds the pressfitting.
Result
The locking pin is in position 1.
6
Turn the closed pressing collar to the pressing position.
