Replacing the die (BLK1.6LE)
(figure 18).
Loosen the union nut and remove the com-
plete holder.
Remove the pan head screws, then remove
the die and the punch guide.
Push the punch up and pull out the wear plate
sideways.
Insert a new wear plate.
Pull the die downward.
Mount the die and the punch guide with the
pan head screws and only hand-tighten.
Align the die in such a manner that the gap
between punch and die is equal on both sides.
Lightly grease the sliding surface between die
holder and punch.
Tighten the pan head screws.
Remount the holder to the machine with
attention to the cutting direction.
Tighten the union nut.
