Appendix B. Warranty

Respironics, Inc. warrants your BiliChek System against defects in material and workmanship for
a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover any damage
caused by accident, misuse, tampering, or negligence such as failure to follow the instructions pro-
vided in this guide. In the event your unit fails to give satisfactory performance within the war-
ranty period and conditions, Respironics, Inc. will repair or replace your device at no charge for
parts or labor. The foregoing warranties are in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied,
including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose.
