Introduction
This document is an addendum to the HeartStart MRx Instructions for Use. It explains how to use the features
of the HeartStart MRx's Wireless Link Option.
The Wireless Link Option allows the
Philips' Telemedicine System, Data Messenger, ER Pro or to third-party electronic patient care record
(ePCR) software. Using Wireless Link, you can send:

WARNING: Before using the HeartStart MRx with Wireless Link Option, you should familiarize yourself with the
operation of the HeartStart MRx. Refer to the HeartStart MRx Instructions for Use.
Setup, Configuration and Connection
Before you can send data, Wireless Link, the HeartStart MRx and the computer receiving your data must
be set up and configured properly by your IT professionals.

HeartStart MRx, Wireless Link and your data management software properly.
NOTES: All configurations need to be completed before using the Wireless Link option. Failure to do so results in
an inability to use the Wireless Link option.
When the HeartStart MRx has a low battery, only vital functionality directly related to patient care is
available. Wireless Link does not work when the device has a low battery.
