The Össur LSF Calf Cosmesis is referred to as the device in the following
document. This document provides important information on the
indications for use, and handling of the device. It is intended for
a certified prosthetist and the user of the device. The device may only be
fitted by a qualified practitioner authorized by Össur after completing the
corresponding training.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The device is a cosmetic cover intended to contain the Össur prosthetic
leg, providing cosmetic finishing between the prosthetic foot and the
socket.
The device is available for right and left sides in two sizes (22-24 cm and
25-26 cm) (see Figure 1).

INDICATIONS FOR USE

The device is a non-invasive, reusable prosthetic device designed for
single patient use in low to moderate everyday activities.

The following specifications are for size 22-24 device:

• System height: 53.5 cm / 21.1" (uncut)
• Circumference:
– Calf: 36.5 cm / 14.4"

SAFETY
Warnings
The device should only be used with intended Össur products.
The device is weatherproof, therefore cannot be submerged in water
(please refer to the Weatherproof section).
In cases of change in device performance, damage, or malfunction, the
user should immediately cease using the device, and return it to their
practitioner.
The device is NOT designed for use in extreme sports or other extreme
activities.
Exposure to temperatures above 50°C for prolonged periods can result in
device damage.
Weatherproof
A weatherproof device allows use in a wet and/or humid environment,
but does not allow submersion. Fresh water splashing against the
enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect. Dry thoroughly
after contact with fresh water. Fresh water: Includes tap water. Excludes
salt and chlorinated water.
For a weatherproof system, weatherproof components must be selected
for use with the device.
