You should perform a visual inspection before every use, and in accordance
with your specific institution's policy.
– Examine the MP2/X2 Carry Bag exterior for cleanliness and general
physical condition. Make sure that the seams or stitching is not loose or
ripped, that everything is present, that there are no spilled liquids and
that there are no visible signs of abuse.
– Inspect all accessories (straps, fasteners, Velcro straps and so forth). If
any show signs of damage, then do not use.
Care Task Frequency
Cleaning Cleaning should be performed with soap and water or a
disinfectant, as generally commensurate with your institution's
policies. Machine washing is not generally recommended, as this
would likely reduce the useful life of the Carry Bag. If necessary,
use Gentle Cycle only.
Disinfecting Disinfecting should regularly be performed manually, as this will
reduce the risk of cross-infection. The solutions listed in the
table below have been tested for compatibility with the Carry
Bags' materials. Tests conducted used disinfectants with the
dilution/concentration indicated, simulating a daily manual
surface cleaning motion of ten minutes duration with direct
contact.
