Installing the Monitor Optimizer/DTP92

Your instrument may not include all of the cabling or AC Adapters shown.
•
If the non-USB version of the Monitor Optimizer is ever disconnected from the serial port or
AC Adapter, turn Off the Computer before reconnecting.
1. Verify the Monitor Calibration or Monitor Profiling software application is installed.
2. For non-USB installations, quit all applications and shut down the computer.
3. Plug the appropriate instrument connector (DIN, DB9, DB25, or USB) into the
computer's serial port.
4. For non-USB installations, connect the supplied AC Adapter to the instrument and AC
wall outlet.
5. Turn the computer On (if Off) and follow the software manufacturer's documentation for
instrument and software operation.
