Assembling the product

Insert the HF electrode into the electrode handle as far as it goes.
For electrode handle 20190-045 only, connect connecting cable:
1. Only use one of the connecting cables specified in these in-
structions. The connecting cable must be sterile.
2. Inspect the connecting cable for damage, particularly the in-
sulation. Do not use it if it is damaged.
3. Connect the connecting cable to the HF connector of the
handpiece. You must hear an audible click when they con-
nect.

Connect up the product and select unit settings

Plug the connecting cable into the monopolar socket of the elec-
trosurgical unit.
Only select unit settings that do not exceed the maximum elec-
trical capacity of the product (V

(for Erbe electrosurgical units, read the "Accessories" section).

Using the product

Press the yellow button to activate cutting mode. Press the blue
button to activate coagulation mode. Make sure that the electro-
surgical unit responds correctly.
The electrode handles without buttons are activated in the same
way via footswitch.
