16. (B) To place the child in the seat, first open the belt. Start by pressing
the releases on the sides of the safety buckle (B4) and pull the buckle
(B1) upwards, so that it slides out of the socket (B5). Place the child in
the seat. Insert the safety buckle (B1) in its socket again (B5). Make sure
that the buckle socket (B5) is correctly positioned and does not hurt the
child. Next adjust the belt to the size of the child to ensure that the child is
firmly secured. First adjust the height of the belt. To do this, pull the straps
according to the size of the child. Before starting the journey, always check
that the child is secured and that the belt is snug but not so tight that it
hurts the child. We recommend that the child's helmet be put on after the
belt is adjusted. Note: Always use the restraint system.
(B.A) To place the child in the seat, first fully extend the belt straps (B),
sliding the adjusters (B2). This makes it easier to put the helmet when the
child is in the seat. Do the same for the other side. To put the child in the
seat, open the lock (B1) of the safety belt (B) pressing the three buttons of
the lock (B1) as indicated. Before starting your ride, make sure the seat belt
is properly adjusted and that it does not hurt the child. This adjustment
is made by sliding the belt adjustors (B2). Note: Always use the restraint
system.
17. To adjust the height of the footrest (E) to fit your child, release the
footrest (E) from the seat (A) by pressing the two fasteners together and lift
the footrest as indicated in the picture (it may be necessary to apply some
pressure to the fasteners).
18. To reattach the foot rests, first engage the top pin, and push the
footrest (E) down to lock the clips into the slots holes.
19. To guarantee your child's safety, adjust the strap (D) of the footrest.
Unlock the strap (D) and adjust it to the child's foot. Lock it again making
sure the strap does not hurt the child.
20. Make sure you have followed and fulfilled all the instructions given.
When done so, the child bicycle seat is ready for use. IT IS MANDATORY
